This Winchester manufactured third variation lower tang is for the post 64 model 94 lever action carbine manufactured roughly between 1975 and 1977 and having a serial number between 4,000,000 and 4,580,000. This lower tang does NOT have the two support rails on the side of the front most section that lock into the receiver and is manufactured to use the older style mainspring and hammer system.
